Brown Banded Cockoach:

The brown-banded cockroach (Supella longipalpa) is a small, ½-inch-long indoor pest with light to medium brown coloring and two pale bands across its wings and abdomen. Unlike many cockroach species, it prefers warm, dry areas above ground level, hiding behind furniture, inside cabinets, in closets, or even behind picture frames. Males can fly, while females rarely do. These cockroaches feed on a variety of materials, including food crumbs, glue, and even paper products. Females produce 10–14 egg cases, each containing 14–18 eggs, and the life cycle from egg to adult can take 2–6 months. Adults live for 5–10 months. Brown-banded cockroaches can spread bacteria, trigger allergies, and contaminate food. They are most active at night and can be challenging to control due to their widespread hiding places.
