In2Care® Mosquito Stations
Targeting Mosquitoes at Every Stage
Target Mosquitoes at Every Stage – Adult and Larvae
Serving Massachusetts, New Hampshire & Southern Maine
As part of our Ultimate Mosquito & Tick Control Program, A1 Exterminators uses In2Care® Mosquito Stations to dramatically reduce mosquito populations in your yard. This innovative, green technology works continuously throughout the mosquito season to target:
- Adult mosquitoes – the biting stage that spreads disease
- Mosquito larvae – preventing them from developing into biting adults
The result is powerful, eco-friendly protection for your family, pets, and guests.
How the In2Care® Mosquito Station works
Step 1 – Attracting Mosquitoes
The station’s black design, water reservoir, and natural odor lure female mosquitoes looking for a place to lay eggs—especially Aedes mosquitoes (known for spreading Dengue, Zika, and Chikungunya). Other species, like Culex mosquitoes, are also drawn to the trap.
Step 2 – Contaminating the Mosquito
Once inside, mosquitoes land on a treated gauze floater containing:
- A slow-acting biological fungus that kills adults within a few days and can block virus replication
- A larvicide that prevents larvae from maturing into adults
Step 3 – Spreading the Treatment
Before dying, contaminated mosquitoes visit other breeding sites, unknowingly spreading the larvicide to nearby mosquito habitats. This extends control well beyond the station’s location.
Step 4 – Stopping the Next Generation
Larvae inside the station die before emerging. Their scent makes the trap even more attractive to other egg-laying females, creating a continuous cycle of mosquito reduction.
