Sac Spider:

Sac spiders are small, fast-moving spiders commonly found indoors and outdoors, often mistaken for other venomous spiders due to their pale yellow to beige color. They range from 1/4 to 3/8 inch in length and have a slightly darker marking on the top of their body near the head. These spiders do not spin webs to catch prey but are active hunters, primarily feeding on small insects. Sac spiders are named for the small silk sacs or retreats they build in corners, behind furniture, or under leaves, where they rest during the day. At night, they emerge to hunt. They have eight legs, no wings, no antennae, and do not fly. While not aggressive, they will bite if provoked, and their bites can be painful and may cause mild skin irritation, swelling, or lesions. Sac spiders are most active from late summer into fall, often entering homes in search of warmth. Their lifecycle includes egg, spiderling, and adult stages, with females laying up to five egg sacs containing 30–50 eggs each.
