Jumping Spider:

Jumping spiders (Salticidae) are small, compact spiders recognized for their exceptional eyesight, short legs, and agile movements. They don’t spin webs to catch prey; instead, they actively stalk and leap onto insects using their strong front legs. Their coloration varies by species, with some featuring black, gray, or brown tones and iridescent green or blue markings. Indoors, they’re often seen on walls, ceilings, or windowsills, especially in sunny areas. Outdoors, they prefer plants, fences, and tree trunks. They pose no threat to humans and rarely bite, making them one of the most tolerated spider types in homes. Females lay eggs in silk sacs, and spiderlings mature within a few months. Most jumping spiders live around one year. Due to their beneficial behavior and non-aggressive nature, control is usually unnecessary unless populations are large or unwelcome indoors.
